There are approximately 20 steps that separate Le Dimore Al Vecchio Teatro from the most beautiful balcony in the city of Ortona which offers you the sea from left to right. If the desire to enjoy the sunrise on our slice of the Adriatic Sea overtakes you, the proximity will ease the early rising. And, in the evening, the lights of the coast overlooking the Tremiti Islands will give you moments of happiness. On days where the climate allows it, you will feel the scent and the breeze that goes beyond the walls and reaches the top floor. During the day you can comfortably find yourself in the center and forget the car because you are in the heart of the city.

the cycle/pedestrian way La Via Verde
For cycle tourism enthusiasts, on this cycle path built on one of the most splendid coastlines of the entire Adriatic, you cycle a few meters from the sea, on one side the nature of Abruzzo and on the other the Costa dei Trabocchi. A route for cyclists and walkers which for almost 42 kilometers offers historical testimonies and immersions in nature. If you stop in our homes you will be able to easily access the Ortona - San Vito Chietino stretch which starts from the Ripari di Giobbe to the former San Vito Chietino station, passing through the port of Ortona and the tunnels in the Acquabella and Torre del Moro areas.
The Wonderful Costa dei Trabocchi
This wonderful part of the Abruzzo coast which extends for several kilometers and is home to the magnificent trabocchi, wooden buildings that recall the stilt houses used in the past for fishing. Having now become one of the symbols of Abruzzo, they are all found in the southernmost part of the Abruzzo coast in the Chietina province. Real fishing machines allowed fishermen to fish without having to embark and take to the sea and move away. Many times they were also homes that hosted the fishermen themselves.

“I give 5 stars because you can't get more but it deserves ten. A unique kindness, our room was number 2 located on the second floor of the building. Very clean, simply furnished but very nice and large with a small but functional kitchenette. The things I loved most are: the soap dispenser in the shower, the coffee machine with the pods already there, the make-up mirror in the bathroom. Small things but they make the stay super comfortable. 15 minutes by car from via dei trabocchi. Breakfast deal with a great bakery around the corner. A stone's throw from the center of Ortona so as to have everything close by without moving the car as parking is scarce.”
